The Fund is managed by Rutherford Investment Management, a Registered Investment Advisor established in 1994 in Portland, Oregon.  The firm provides institutional style long-only asset management. The principal is William D. Rutherford, formerly Treasurer of the State of Oregon and Chairman of the Oregon Investment Council and president of two international investment companies of prominent European banks, during which time he had offices in New York, Europe, and Asia.  As Treasurer, he managed over $14 billion in public pension assets in Oregon and left it in a considerably over-funded position, despite the deep recession at the time in the state. Mr. Rutherford has been quoted and published in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, London Guardian, Business Week, Reuters, and numerous other publications. He has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and served as speaker at numerous investor conferences.
